301 Redirect

The HTTP comeback standing code 301 Moved Permanently is used for endless URL redirection, It’s not that hard to execute and it should maintain your search engine rankings for that particular page. 301 redirect is a permanent redirect which turns down up to 90 to 99% of link equity to the diverted page. It sends site visitors and search engines to a dissimilar URL than the one they originally typed into their browser or selected from a SERP. It is the most effective and Search Engine Friendly approach for webpage redirection. If you want to rename the file or move pages around, it’s the safest option.
